  2. There are so many issues in San Martin de Porres, some of those issues, are the garbage and stray dogs. In Condevilla, there are so many stray dogs, they're everywhere.I think stray dogs are all around Lima, but I'll explain what the problem is in my neighborhood. Every night, people throw their garbage in a corner of my neighborhood's park. That is something everybody does BUT the problem comes when people do not throw their trash when the garbage truck is about to come. Stray dogs try to eat the garbage, that is a big problem. There are so many stray dogs and unpunctual people that make my neighborhood in Condevilla look like a dirty one.

If I were an urban planner, I would tell the authorities to crack down those people who don't care about our neighborhood. If the stray dogs didn't eat the garbage, it would be such a beautiful neighborhood.

I have some suggestions for this issue:

-Those stray dogs need some organizations to take care of them. We can build rehab centers for those dogs.
-About the garbage, we need to compensate to the people that is punctual and punish people who don't care about this issue. As I told you, If people hadn't thrown their garbage, stray dogs wouldn't have eaten that garbage.

I hope Freddy Ternero listens to my suggestions and I'll see what he can do. Let's just wait and see..

  3. There are many issues in San Martin de Porres, one of the issues that my neighborhood is facing now is that many people go to the parks to walk in, or spending some quality time with their children, but There are other people that go to the parks only for drink beer or smoke in the park. Without a doubt, It is outrageous, how people can do this. There are many childrens that could follow that example. Also, many of them, when drink beer are more stupid or are unaware what they do or say, because they bother the people who cross the park, telling silly things to the girls, or in another case, between theirs, They start to fight or argue
If I were an urban planner, I would tell to the autorithies that they not let be in the parks or public places too late, because if they want to drink or smoke, you can at nightclubs, bars, etc.

  4. there are some issues in comas and and one of them that my neighborhood is facing is the gang. thousand of students and workers are affected by the gangs members that routinely do what they want with their defenseless victims, causing problems such as assault, burglary, drive-by shooting, extortion, homicide, robbery, etc those kinds of violence have created an atmosphere of fear as it anybody do not want to go out too late. it is unfortunate the situation that exists here and nationwide, and that the authorities have not been able to control it yet. If i were an urban planner , i would suggest to the autorities that install services of security through serenazgo , police through the patrolling for quadrants, moreover that install surveillance videos to catch the gang members and take them to the court.

  5. there are common issues in all districts ,people who throw the garbage in everywhere , gangs that promote disorder , people don't care the place where they live ,it's terrible.
but i consider that some neighbors promote disorder too ,take for example i live in Independencia and there i have some neighbors that all weekend they set up a party i can't sleep i hope the weekend to sleep confortable and it's not possible there is to much noise as a result the parties end up in fights.

i comvinced the authorities should crack down , they must stablish some specific rules to combat the disorder for example ,put to fine people who do not obey the laws it will be aa good idea

i hope that someday i can sleep as a baby ..

  6. nowadays there are so many issues in our country but I am going to talk about the issues that is facing Callao .I am convinced the principal problem here is the traffic accident because until now had died a lot of people, for that reason I think people and authorities have to crack down against these problems to give you an idea, last week a taxi driver and his passanger died for going too fast not only that, but two weeks ago a seller was hit by a driver who was going to fast .This has to stop now because it is becoming a vicious circle in wich young people are not excluded because have also been reported death of them by driving at high speed.

If I were an urban planner I would to suggest to the population use the pedestrian bridge to the authorities to install streetlights in good condicion and not only that , but people who cause this accident should taken to court and be severely punished because ending with the lifes in this way is unacceptable.

  7. I live in Los Olivos since 9 years ago. Even so, I live in a nice neighborhood there is an urban issue that is bothering me for a while. Micaela Bastidas Park is the biggest park around my neighborhood and I think it could be not only the biggest one but also the nicest one.

Our neighborhood commitee has already sent thousand requests to our mayor about some projects, as for example set up a playground area for kids so they can play there in the afternoons, also we have requested to establish a perimetre and more lighting so we could have a safer area because at nights this park is very dark and dangerous.

Gangs from other neighborhoods have found here a good place for drinking beers,to rob pedestrians and sometimes they also break into houses that are around.

We haven't only sent requests but also solutions, like the participative budget. It means we are willing to be part of the proyect contributing money.

Our mayor hasn't taken in consideration our requests, instead he is always giving us excuses about it. The park is very well-care I can't complain about that, but at nights it's no man's land.

If I were the mayor I would help my community neighbors.
We'll keep insisting on it. I hope the mayor would help us soon.

  8. There are many issues in my neighborhood , but I'm going to focus on one of them : graffitis .

We all know, and I'm convinced of it, that making a graffiti is an art and a way to express a message through figures, pictures and so on.
But it also can be used in the wrong form by using sprays for making rude and vulgar pictures in other people's houses or walls. For example, If you have just purchased a house and you have just painted it and decorated, you wouldn't like that decoration to be spoiled by a strange unmindful person. That's why I think that if I were an urban planner , I'd suggest to start fining those people who do that and tell watchmen to be on the ball in case they catch the grafters, and that way keep our neighborhoods and the hole city clean and it will look like a well-preserved place por everybody, not only for peruvian people but also for tourists who have a bad impression when they see those mediocre drawings on walls.

  9. I'm convinced that one of the most worrying problems in Peru and especially in the hills of Comas (Velasco) is poverty. Without a doubt, is a problem we are trying to remove since years ago, but there is still much to do. To give you an idea you can't only see the poverty in the hills of the city, also in the streets because every day I can see people sleeping on the streets, they live in poor conditions or often look for food in the garbage. I think that's outrageous.

If I were a urban planner, I would plan more budget for sectors that need it. Another solution would be to evaluate the conditions of each of these people and try to provide more opportunities for them to study and work.

we need to pay more attention to these places because they also deserve to have a comfortable life. I hope the authorities are aware of this problem and try to give the best solutions to this.

  10. I have lived in Los Olivos since 2003 and without a doubt, there are several problems that my district is facing. I strongly believe that one of the biggest problems is robbery. Even though our mayor is working in improving the safety of our city, it's necessary to take stronger measures against this problem. Take, for example that thieves don't appear only in the night. Instead, there are many cases of robbery in broad daylight. Not only that, but those criminals are robbing children out of schools and some of them attack kids with guns, knives and other weapons. And besides, there are many burglars that are able to emptying a house in just a couple of minutes when they notice that nobody is there.

Another problem that my district is facing is the lack of basic services in some areas. For instance, i live near a hill where people only get water through tankers. This is more expensive and sometimes the water it's not clean. Not to mention the fact that people has to walk a lot to get a car because there aren't tracks in the place they live.

If I were an urban planner, i would suggest the placement of cameras connected to a central in every corner of the district. This action has been succesful in other districts where robbery has decreased since the colocation of those cameras. Another action would be implementation of a security plan where police officers would take care of the city all the day. Also, i would order the asphalted of the tracks in the hills and the installation of basic services.

  11. I have been living in Los Olivos for sixteen years and, of course, as any other district it has some issues. So in my neighborhood there are issues, too. The biggest one is related to the stray dogs. I would start saying there are a lot of dogs near my neighborhood. I’m convinced that they stay there because someone feed them. That is not bad. However, since these dogs don’t have an owner, they poo and pee wherever and nobody will clean that, so people would step on them. Not only that, but also these dogs bark all night long and don’t let people sleep. And sometimes they bark at people intimidating them.
One minor problem is the garbage in the streets. Another one is the bad traffic management. Take, for example, the semaphore in Los Olivos' city council which has an unfair time distribution.
If I were an urban planner, I'd find generous people who would like to adopt the dogs. Another option to confront the problem would be to give them to a veterinarian. About the other problems, I'd build some trash cans in the streets. Finally I'd make a fairer traffic management.

  12. I live in Puente Piedra all my life, I convinced that the principal issue in puente piedra are the grafity on the wall and the hooligan, specially near my neighborhood. The problem started some year ago when the young people joined to different teams of hooligan. They paint the walls with drawings of their teams. this is a terrible problem to the neighbors because then they have to clean their walls.
To give you an example, near my house there is a kinder school. Two months ago, two different teams fought for painting that wall. Not only that, but they show a terrible imagen of our neighborhood and beside the worst thing is that more and more the young people joined to these groups.

If I were an urban planner, I'd create a social program where the young people can do different manual activities like paint, knit, draw and more. And with this they can get a job. Also I think that is necessary to give an awareness campaign where we explain the problems got when the people belong to this teams.

To conclude is important the people were conscious to this cases to avoid it because the young people will be the future of our country.

  13. There are some issues in San Martin de Porres district but in this opportunity i'm going to talk about one of this issue. I live in Macara Street, and to be really honest I like quite neighborhoods but this is not one of them. Do you want to know why? Well, during the summer people have unauthorized parties on the street, specially on weekends. And they put the speakers out of their houses and they play loud music. Not only that but many people come to this parties some of them are people who live near to Macara street and others are gangs from other neighborhoods.

Without a doubt, this situation makes that people consider Macara as unsafe place because on weekends people usually can’t walk on this street because they feel afraid of being robbed by the gangs. If the authorities had been more stricter about parties in the street, vandalism wouldn’t be a problem in Macara.

Because of this, many neighbors have called the police to report this uncomfortable situation but the officers just come and ask to the party planner to turn the music down and at the moment they do it but after the police go they turn the music up.

I just want to find a solution for this issue in my neighborhood. If I were an urban planner I would convince to the authorities of San Martin de Porres’s district to crack down on neighbors who organize parties on the streets because they have to understand that we just want to take a rest on weekend after working hard during the week. If they don’t obey the law then they will be fined. Also I would suggest arresting those people who make disturbances on the street and for that we need more police patrols specially on weekends.

  14. I live in parque naranjal urbanization, we have 3 problems, one of these is noise pollution, environmental pollution and juvenile delinquency.
    A) noise pollution - in front of our urbanization there are recreational centros , for that reason there are a lot of parties every weekend , emitting noises because of the great music equipment they use, Disturbing the peace in the area.
    B) Environmental pollution-mi urbanization is opposite the industrial zone of independence and unfortunately those industries emit odors in that place
    C) juvenile delinquency-the presence of large industries in my area, make the streets are empty and in many cases even dark ,also attendance and alcohol consumption on the premises where there are holidays causes the robbers come to these places to steal easily
if I had the opportunity to address the above problems, my solutions would be:
    A) noise pollution - eradicate premises where there are parties and place them in remote places where people are not bothered by the noise
    B) Environmental pollution-- require and enforce industries to comply with the rules and laws of fitness to the environment. Otherwise, close those companies
    C) juvenile delinquency. more street lighting and if there weren't places of entertainment, would haven't thieves who steal

  15. I strongly believe that in comas, one of the most important issues is about recycling. In the park next to my house, there are lots of cans and plastic bottles. The time they take to biodegrade is between 100 to 1000 years.
If i were an urban planner, i will put specialized cans to put plastic on one, metal on the other etc. I have realized that other districts have this system, so i hope comas won´t get behind.

  16. I live in pacasmayo- callao since 10 years ago and the most common problem in my district is that there is too much insecurity Let`s take for example last month I was walking down the avenue to take my car to go to college and two strange people ran to take my phone I guess. This should not be so because Callao is one of the districts with more juvenile delinquency and insecurity.
Another problem is the abandoned land is common in all districts but especially here in my neighborhood since around my house there are about 10 houses that do not have much business that affects the majority of people who need a home to stay overnight and also does harm to our society, making it immune to attacks bandalos who remain to live in those houses.
    My proposals are:
the government needs to sort and see if anyone lives in those houses that are abandoned or have owner, so also would reduce pollution.

We have to set an alarm and surveillance cameras in our homes or at least clear light poles using the Regional Government of Callao.

  17. Lack of Bridges in Panamericana Norte Avenue
Mayors are turning a blind eye to the lack of bridges in Panamericana Norte Avenue, exactly in the interseccion of Trapiche and Pro.
First of all, there are so few bridges and traffic signals throughout Panamericana Norte, from Los Olivos to Ancon.Because of this, accidents and deaths are happening all the time.
Last year,I went to Ancon to visit my aunts and I saw desolated roads,a few bus stops and no more than two bridges.A lot of people jeopardize their lives crossing those roads without traffic signals.
Like Ancon, the interseccion of these two avenues Trapiche and Pro is also a hazard that needs to be taken into consideration by mayors. There isn’t a bridge in that place, pedestrians have to go across that unsafe road, even, parents jeopardize their children’s lives doing that.Bridges are essential for citizens.
If mayors solved this problem, there wouldn’t be more accidents.Mayors of Los Olivos,Puente Piedra and Ancon need to open their eyes about these issues and figure out for a solution.

  18. I live in Olivos since I was a child and there are have been many issues that have affected importantly to my neighbourhood.
Two of the most important issues are crime and garbage.

Crime is one of the serious problem that is happening in my neighbourhood. First of all, there aren't enough police patrols that take care of streets and offer security to the people. Second of all, teenegers spend to much time outside home by committing bad things to the society like consuming drugs, drinking alcohol and others which end up in gangs.

Garbage is another critical issue that my neighbourhood is facing. The maing problem is ourself because we are irresponsable when we throw trash on the streets. In addition, the truck garbage doesn't pass frecuently.

If I were a Urban planner I would gather my neighbours in order to give solutions to those problems for the benefit of our well-being. For example in case of crime I would put more police patrols and for the other case I would implement garbage areas.

  19. I live in comas, and like everywhere here are some issues. One of them is the garbage truck, they should pick the garbage up three times a week. But they forget to do it and this have consequences like diseases or epidemics and not only that, also this problem make bad odor and sometimes some spray dogs bite the packs and it mess the street and gives a bad look. Our mayor is an irresponsable person they forget a lot of thing and we need solutions.

  20. I live in SMP for almost 23 years and since I was a child I have heard a lot of complaints about the garbage, the transportation, the noisy, etc. They are right because it is a fact, but I don´t think it were the real issue. In my opinion the main problem in my district and in all the places is people unconsciousness who don´t care trow garbage on the streets while other people are looking them or if their children trow their candy wrappers on the streets instead trow them in the trash. I think it depend of our education and everything we teach to our children. So I think if we teach to don´t litter instead to clean we can improve a lot. In addition, the goberment should invest more in the advertising and over all in the education of our children in order they learn to take care of our district and our country, because they will became our future.

  21. Hello my name is ruben. I live in San Martin de Porres and lately I have seen many problems in my neighborhood. For one thing, the garbage collector dosen’t collect the garbage every day, only weekend and It is the cause why some streest in my neighborhood smell awful. Another, there are so many gangs that fight each other distrupting the peace of the neighbors and also steal the neighbors at nigth. One solution could be that the municipality hires gang members to work as garbage collectors and thus they can leave the gang.Another solution is that The municipality should build recreation centers in sports like soccer, swimming, volleyball etc. This would be the way to fight against the gangs.
